Then & Now - Sauchet Lane Alderney

Sauchet Lane (more correctly "Venelles Sauchet") is just off the top of the main street in Alderney. It used to be the site of the main town pump, which can be seen in the left foreground of the old image. This is another in my occasional series of "then & Now" images from Alderney.

There are a lot of cars on this small island now a days, and they always seem to be in my shots ;-) It is amazing how little has changed in 90 years though.
